Walking the Appalachian Trail for MG research.
The MGAC would like to introduce to everyone in the MG organizations
across
the country Swanie Robertson of Estes Park, Colorado. She plans to
walk the
Appalachian Trail this spring and summer. She wants to be an
ambassador for
MG and attempt to raise funds for MG research. while Swanie herself
doesn't
have MF, she has lost a child hood friend to complications of MG. She
plans
to leave Delaware Water Gap at the New Jersey/Pennsylvania state lines in
late April 2003. She will walk north toward Millinochet, Maine. ( The
attached form shows what states she's gone through and how many miles. Do
what ever to get this point across).
If you would like to make a donation for the miles that Swanie has
already
done fill our the attached form and send to MGAC P.O. Box 390083 Denver,
Colorado 80239. All funds received will be donated to Dr. Blalock's
research.
